This stubborn leaf was still hanging in there this morning, from where I saw it hit the window screen during those wind gusts yesterday, haha.
Resilient little thing.
Makes me think about the millions of people devastated and suffering right now in southern Georgia, Florida, Texas, the Caribbean islands, and east Asia because of hurricanes and flooding this summer. Humans are stubborn and resilient while being battered, too.
Stay strong, folks. Stay strong for each other until help comes.
