I felt exactly like Dorothy Gale in The Wizard of Oz as I dove headlong into 3D animator Julius Horsthuis’s phenomenal film Lingua Naturæ. It is a journey into the center of the cavernous, fractalized geosphere of an alien world, and it’s well worth the trip. I’ll definitely be digging into more of Mr. Horsthuis’ creations. His are landscapes where the most fantastic of stories are waiting to be conceived and born.
