Holocaust Memorial Day: I’ll never forget her because it’s impossible to do so.

Every year around this time, I always think about one of my son’s elementary school teachers.

I always remember accidentally meeting her at our grocery store back in the 90s, shaking her warm, frail hand, and noticing the row of numbers tattooed on the inside of her arm, near her wrist. ❤

I always wonder where she is now, or if she’s resting in peace. I can’t remember her name, but I’ll never forget her because it’s impossible to do so.
